Shadrack Vork; M.Div.
Shadrack Vork was born February 15, 1973 in Fairmont, Minnesota. His family moved around when he was a youngster, but settled in Lancaster, Texas, where he attended and graduated from high school. Following high school he attended Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. He graduated from college in 1995 with a degree in Chemistry. Shad moved back to the Granada, Minnesota area and after working for a year or so, the Lord began to impress upon him the desire for full time ministry. He then began attending Central Baptist Theological Seminary. While in seminary he was involved in the ministry of Family Baptist Church. He met his wife, Elisabeth, who was teaching at Faith Baptist Christian School in St. Paul. They were married on December 18, 1999. Shad enjoys reading, music, playing trombone, and many sports.
Elisabeth Vork was born April 18, 1973 in Buffalo, Minnesota. Elisabeth is the daughter of Pastor and Mrs. Lenard Huebscher of Grace Baptist Church in Stillwater. She attended school at both Faith Baptist and Woodcrest Baptist Christian Schools. Elisabeth then attended Pillsbury Baptist Bible College and graduated in 1996 with a degree in teaching. She has spent several summers as a Bible Camp counselor or staff. She taught at Faith Baptist School in St. Paul for 5 years. Elisabeth enjoys music and plays piano and violin. She teaches piano lessons, enjoys reading, canoeing and camping.
Shad oversees the youth and children's programs of the church. Also, he works at developing our Sunday School ministry, coordinating all special music and is actively used in discipling and training others.
